Content Development Specialist (e-learning programmer)

Using Instructional Design Principles to design and develop interactive, effective, user-friendly, and FUN eLearning. You’ll take input from customers, instructional designers and senior leadership and see products from conception to implementation using e-learning, audio, and video software. Good teamwork experience is critical In this role you will be:

  • Analyzing learning needs and partner with instructors and internal subject matter experts who will provide input for course content and/or design.

You must possess the ability to translate goals and objectives into realistic learning activities.

  • Developing storyboards, interactive multimedia mini modules, tutorials, simulations, etc. for primarily web-based or e-learning programs incorporating, editing, scraping and splicing audio and video elements as needed.
  • Designing and maintaining Captivate e-learning modules.

You must be an Adobe Captivate expert who has mastered “Advanced Actions” and have a good grasp of JavaScript. You should have worked with imported Photoshop comps and be able to build an interface based on a PSD design.

  • Validating and integrating feedback into current and new training course content

 

Qualifications:

•Minimum of 5 years of experience working with e-learning training design and at least 3 years of instructional design experience

•Knowledge of latest adult learning theories and models necessary for e-learning content development including gamification

•Minimum of 3 years of design and development experience in Adobe Captivate and Creative Suite- InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and other software as needed.

•Extensive experience in all Microsoft Office services including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, etc.

•Strong communication, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills as well as experience in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment are required. Must be able to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms.

Graphic Designer (e-learning)

 

Using Instructional Design Principles to design and develop interactive, effective, user-friendly, and FUN eLearning. You’ll take input from customers, instructional designers and senior leadership you will provide visual design expertise in support of e-learning development. This full-time role requires experience and technical skills in visual design, content layout, and interactive elements design. You need to be highly experienced in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.) and have familiarity with Adobe Premiere, Adobe AfterEffects and e-learning design and development. Good teamwork experience is critical.  In this role you will be:

 

  • Design look and feel for eLearning courses
  • Design screen layouts for various eLearning screen types
  • Create prototypes of eLearning element for review
  • Draw characters and other objects for eLearning
  • Design graphics and interface elements for eLearning
  • Design, format, and optimize course assets

###POSITION DESCRIPTION 3###

e-Learning Production Assistant

 

This full-time key professional role supports the product development team in designing and building eLearning modules. The successful candidate will need experience with the Adobe Creative Suite and the various assets used in building eLearning products. In this role you will:

 

  • Serve as a critical component of the creative team and provide a direct link to the creative and design teams
  • Assist and organize all graphics/images gathered by the research team
  • Ensure graphics/images selected for product integration are copyright licensed or copyright free
  • Establish and maintain a library of suitable graphics/images for global culture courses
  • Ensure that selected graphics/images are reviewed/approved by Military SME
  • Assist and organize all audio delivered by voice talent and culture SMEs (clips, levels, quality, format etc.)

 

Qualifications:

 

This entry-level professional position requires intellectual agility and an artist’s eye coupled with the ability to conduct computer research to identify images to supplement the written script of e-Learning courses built to convey cultural awareness.  An undergraduate degree in communication, film or television production might be helpful as would global travel experience, a “wide” (inclusive) sociological perspective on American culture and a developed sensitivity to global social values.  Experience working as an active member of a creative team building experiential learning programs is considered a significant plus.

Administrative/Project Assistant

 

Our 20 year-old non-profit educational research company is seeking a college-graduate (business or public management) for full-time professional position to help establish a new project office (six staff) in Carefree, AZ.  Responsible to President for his administrative support and Directors for general office management and direct engagement with a new creative educational product design team. 

 

Qualifications:

 

Professional appearance, strong writing, organization, creative thinking and communication skills are essential. Must have strong office/computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite required, a willingness to organize company files, and present a good-natured, confident demeanor. 3 to 5 years’ experience in business, educational, or non-profit management is preferred. Veteran or global travels experience a plus.  Background, health/drug and reference check required of successful candidate.
